4B (or ""Four No's"") is a radical feminist movement originating in South Korea in 2019. Its members renounce four activities: sex, child rearing, dating and marriage. The movement draws inspiration from the novel Kim Ji-young, Born 1982, similar to South Korea's Me Too and ""Escape the Corset"" movements. The movement has criticised the K-pop industry for hypersexualisation.
Numerous K-pop girl group members have implicitly expressed support by admitting to reading the novel and wearing clothes with feminist slogans, but have received viral negative responses. (e.g. death threats, male fans burning albums and photos of the members, deleting major fan accounts, aggressive tweets on fan forums, withdrawing concert tickets.)
